Seeds of Hopea video created by the TCAP, discusses the importance of continual plant breeding for disease and pest resistance. Plant breeding is a sustainable solution because it provides plants that are less impacted by disease and pests without additional inputs. Because disease and pests are always changing, plant breeders must be continually working to provide new varieties.

Wheat breeder Luther Talbert and entomologist David Weaver discuss their efforts in mitigating the negative impact of the wheat stem sawfly in Montana that are complicated by the life cycle of the pest. Wheat Stem Sawfly, created by TCAP emphasizes how plant breeders approach problems specific to a region.

Stewards of the Ground describes how plant breeding is empowering growers  to produce more food on less acres in a more sustainable manner.
