Day 27

Day 27. One of the buds at the terminal will become another (the fifth) trifoliate leaf.  The other bud(s) will eventually become flowers (see Part 2). Towards the base of the plant, one of the axillary buds of the first trifoliate leaf has expanded to produce a new stem (arrow).
