Meiosis: Anaphase II

During anaphase II, the chromatids are pulled apart by the spindle fibers. Now they are classified as chromosomes, not chromatids. The chromosomes move apart to opposite ends of the cell (Fig. 13).

Anaphase II. Sister chromatids are separated in two different cells.
In telophase II, 4 gametes are present. Each gamete should be unique, but in this example there are two unique gametes since crossing over was not depicted in this simplified example.
