Day 9, 10

Day 9, 10.  The unifoliate leaves start to push past the cotyledons. Rapid cell expansion causes the stems to suddenly appear very upright. How fast the seeds start to germinate depends on light levels, moisture and temperature.

The main root and lateral roots continue to grow and differentiate.
