Adding Error Bars to Bar Graph
On the last page we learned what Standard Deviation and Standard Error are and how to calculate them. Now we are going to take that knowledge a step further and put it into practice by incorporating the data into bar graphs. If you are unfamiliar with how to create a bar graph, please visit or revisit the Buffalo Grass Field Data: Scoring and Data Analysis lesson. Otherwise continue on to the next video where Kristina will go over how to add error bars to a bar graph.
If you are having trouble viewing the video click on Adding Error Bars
Once you have watched the video click on Data, to retrieve a different data set to try and make a figure of your own. Once you have created your own figure, answer the questions below see how well you did at creating a figure with error bars.
Congrats! You're done with this lesson! You've learned about the structure of academic articles, compared standard devidation and standard error, created a bar graph, and drawn conclusions about the data.
